Frederic Walker Lincoln IV (15 October 1898 – 7 April 1968) was chairman of the board of trustees of the New York Medical College and the Flower and Fifth Avenue Hospital.〔 ==Biography== He was born on October 15, 1898 in New York City to Frederic Walker Lincoln Jr.〔 and was married into the Rockefeller family. He was educated at Pomfret School. He served as a sergeant in the aviation section of the Army Signal Corps. He graduated from Princeton University in 1921. He fought in World War II in the Naval Air Reserve, retiring with the rank of Commander. Lincoln retired as chairman of the board of trustees of the New York Medical College and the Flower and Fifth Avenue Hospital in 1965. In the same year he was awarded an honorary degree from the New York Medical College. Lincoln was married to Isabel, daughter of Percy Avery Rockefeller, and granddaughter of William Rockefeller and James Jewett Stillman. He was father to four daughters, Isabel Lincoln Elmer, Calista Lincoln Harder (deceased 2012), Percy Lincoln Chappell, and Florence Lincoln Short.〔 He died on April 7, 1968 in Greenwich, Connecticut.
